1. It is the aim of Ekklesia Christian Church that all members of Ekklesia Christian Church be committed to the continual growth of their spiritual walk with God.
2. It is the aim of Ekklesia Christian Church that all members of Ekklesia Christian Church be committed to the principles of giving as outlined in the Word of God (Mal. 3:8-12; 2 Cor. 9:6-8)
3. It is the aim of Ekklesia Christian Church that all members of Ekklesia Christian Church pursue, and be committed to, all spiritual, educational opportunities made available through the Leadership of the church (Phil. 3:10-11).
4. It is the aim of Ekklesia Christian Church that all members of Ekklesia Christian Church be committed to God, the Word, the Church, and the Pastor's Vision.
COMMITMENT TO GOD
John 15:4-10 gives us a picture of Jesus speaking to His disciples, stating that they must "Abide in Him."
The word Abide is the word that reflects the idea of commitment. One must be committed to God, as God is committed to us.
Commitment to God means commitment to the principles and standards of God.
COMMITMENT TO THE WORD
John 15:7, "If ye abide in me, and my word abides in you."
The Word of God, as well as, our approach to effectively communicate the Word of God, must be paramount in our daily lives.
Commitment to the Word means commitment to the principles of the Word.
COMMITMENT TO THE CHURCH
Hebrews 10:23-25 gives us a picture of the writer admonishing believers not to "Forsake the assembling of ourselves together."
Loyalty and active participation in the local body prepares the leader for the task of leading. It allows the leader to know to whom he/she will be leading.
Commitment to the Church means commitment to Ekklesia Christian Church.
COMMITMENT TO THE PASTOR'S VISION
Jeremiah 3:15, says God has given "Shepherds" (Pastors) after His own heart who will lead you with knowledge and understanding.
Ephesians 4:11-13, gives us a picture of the Order which God has given for the church.
Commitment to the vision of the Pastor means commitment to holding up the standards and direction of the Leader which God has given.
